Ernestine Anderson - Little Girl Blue
Jazz and blues singer Ernestine Anderson (1928-2016) had a career spanning
more than six decades and recorded over thirty albums. She was nominated for a
Grammy Award four times. Her appearance on saxophonist Gigi Gryce's 1955
album 'Nica's Tempo', led to a partnership with trumpeter Rolf Ericson for a
Scandinavian tour, where she taped most of the music on this LP, titled Little Girl
Blue.
